Hi I brought Windows 8.1 64 bit installed it on a new 1tb hdd (clean Install ) the system has a TPM chip

If I buy windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit   (for  bitlocker ) and do a clean install on the new Hdd .

Question is   Will the licence key for the Windows 8.1 be useable on another system?

I think you can do it, once you have installed the OS you can call up MS support and explain the situation, they would guide you to a wizard and get the installation ID.
